Pat & Giorgio Grappolini

I first met Sandra socially, learning by accident that she was a realtor. When we decided that it was time to sell our townhouse, it was Sandra whom we chose to represent us, based on our initial impression of her. We have never regretted that choice.

Sandra, from the first moments of our relationship as realtor and seller / purchaser, was business-like and efficient, with an imagination that propelled us from our initial thoughts about what we would like to buy, towards our eventual purchase.

Sandra investigated apartments that met our initial “requirements”, suggesting others that might meet all of our “must haves”, as well as some that fit into a category beyond anything that we first imagined. She was sensitive to our wishes to remain close to the neighbourhood in which our town house was located, pushing us gently into neighbourhoods with which we were not as familiar, but still close by.

In those early days (during the Pandemic) we toured many apartments, fine-tuning our expectations and revising our list of requirements. She seemed truly to understand our vision and made it her mission to find us the “perfect” apartment. She followed up on any investigations that we made on our own and was always willing to make the appointments necessary for us to view each one.

On the selling side, Sandra brought in a “Stager” of her acquaintance to walk through our townhouse with us, making suggestions for bringing out the “best” side of our home. There was never any pressure to fit our home into someone else’s vision. The eventual purchasers saw our home as a welcoming place, “just what they wanted”.

Our home did not sell quickly – pandemic restrictions kept potential purchasers away at times. Sandra kept us calm, reminding us that there was the someone out there who would be a perfect match for our home. She was right! We took our town house off the market briefly, over the Christmas season, when interest dropped off.

When the market turned sharply in the Spring, Sandra quickly set us back up, and we soon had our perfect match. Since their purchase, this couple have become our friends, and have meshed beautifully into the community we left. Sandra acted as their realtor too, brokering not just the sale of a townhouse, but became almost a “match-maker” into a community of friends.

We had waited to make our purchase until we actually had sold the townhouse, and things moved at lightning speed after that happened.  There were a few apartments on the market that matched our list of requirements, and within a week, we had made an offer and finalized the sale. After the sale, Sandra kept up her support, recommending the various contractors we knew that we would need to  make the apartment truly our own. Sandra has a wide range of such contractors, including electricians, painters, plumbers and others. When her recommendation for a carpet store fell through for us, she added our recommendation to her list, widening her scope of support.

Even months after the sale, with us out of town, but with one of her recommended contractors finishing up details, Sandra stepped in once again, with follow-up to facilitate transfer of keys to the contractor and even a final check on the finished work, to let us know that it was (of course) perfect. We know and expect that our relationship with Sandra will likely continue into the future, if not as a realtor, then as a friend.

We heartily and without reservation would recommend Sandra as a realtor to anyone searching for a new home or trying to sell their existing home.
