About
Sandra has lived and worked in Calgary for over 35 years. She was born in a remote town in the Northwest Territories and moved to Calgary as teenager. She attended Bishop Grandin High School and went on to earn two Bachelor of Science degrees at the University of Calgary in Pure Mathematics and Computer Science. She spent years working in Calgary’s Oil and Gas sector as a Systems Analyst and Project Leader with extensive travel throughout Canada, the US, and overseas.
With her science degrees, Sandra knows and loves numbers, an obvious asset in the real estate industry. Her strong analytical skills and attention to detail are what set her apart. Clients consistently remark on her total commitment, her unending patience and her ability to listen.
Now, as a mother of four busy children, Sandra understands her key to success has always been her high level of organization; and finding and maintaining balance in her life. Spending time with her husband and family, usually in the mountains, is paramount! She also prioritizes fitness and has qualified for, and competed in, the Boston Marathon and Ironman Canada.

Q & A with Sandra
I love Real Estate for so many reasons but my number one reason for entering this field is that, in this industry, the harder your work, the more rewarding the job is – and I have never been afraid to work hard!
Why did you decide to get into Real Estate?
What is your favourite activity to do outside of work?
My favourite activity to do outside of work is to run. I love that running requires minimal equipment and can be done anywhere. It fits best with my busy schedule and going for a run always leaves me with a clearer mind. When time permits, nothing beats heading out to one of our beautiful nearby mountain parks for a day of trail running.
What are some values that you live by at work and in your personal life?
Values define your character. I value honesty and loyalty above all else, but optimism is also one of my core values. I strive to think positively in every situation and focus on achieving the best possible outcome.
One of my all-time favourite books is Bryce Courtenay’s, The Power of One, a book about true resiliency. A favourite movie I recently watched again and loved is Bend It Like Beckham, which showed how similar we all are, despite cultural differences.
What is your favourite book or movie?
The best part of my day is definitely first thing in the morning – the earlier the better. After a good night’s sleep, I can start the day with a clear and open mind. I love a productive evening but I couldn’t function without my morning reset.
